6" Ficus - Ginseng
Although they are not related, the Ficus Ginseng is nicknamed for it’s provacative shape, which mimics the the bulbous root structure of the ginseng plant.
Also known as Ficus microcarpa, this funky plant requires indirect yet bright light and consistent watering to maintain it’s lush foliage. Evenly moist yet never soggy soil will keep its leaves from yellowing and falling off, but it’s always best to err on the side of underwatering.
The thick trunk and tiny leaves of Ficus ginseng also makes it a great candidate for bonsai, evoking the image of a grand tree in miniature.
This plant comes in a 6″ plastic nursery pot.
