4" Calathea - Lancifolia - TRI

What’s more interesting than the leaves of a calathea?? They come in so many colors, patterns, textures, and shapes, we can’t get enough! As an added bonus, they are considered non-toxic, making them great fit for a pet friendly home.

Among Calatheas, the Lancifolia’s leaves are perhaps the most unique. Their long slender shape and almost banded pattern may be what inspired its common name: Rattlesnake Plant.

Calatheas love bright filtered light, humidity, and consistent watering. Their particular needs have earned them a reputation for being a bit finicky, but in our experience, the Lancifolia seems to be the most forgiving, making it a great first calathea!
